Chocolate Pasta Pudding with Strawberries and Mascapone Print
Indulgent chocolate pudding with balsamic strawberries and mascarpone
250g punnet strawberries, cute in quarters and leaves taken off
1 vanilla bean
1 bag chocolate pasta
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup balasamic vinegar
100g milk chocolate
250g thickened cream
Mascarpone to serve
Cook pasta according to directions and add a vanilla bean to the pot as well before cooking. Strain and keep warm. 
In a saucepan, add vinegar and sugar and cook on low until sugar is dissolved. Add strawberries. and cook on low with lid on for 5mins.
In another saucepan bring cream to the boil. Turn off and sit for 5mins. Add chocolate and constantly stir until chocolate is dissolved. 
In a large bowl, add pasta and chocolate sauce and stir gently until combined. 
Serve chocolate pudding in a bowl, top with strawberries, a little of the balsamic mixture and a dollop of mascarpone. Dust on some icing sugar.
