The time between when you complete your order and when you recieve your goodies has a few factors in it. The major ones are;
How quickly can we collate and dispatch your order?
We aim to pack and ship your purchase as promptly as possible, this will typically be inside of 1 or 2 working days of your order payment (and express post orders get absolute priority), but this can be slightly longer during peak periods and when stock availability effects the order. So please treat it as a rule of thumb, rather than a guarantee.
With this in mind please let us know if you have a time constraint around your order.
We have well over 1,500 products available for you to choose from. We have pallets of stock coming and going every single day so stock levels are very dynamic. At any one time, with some products we might hold thousands of units, and with others might only have 5 or 10 of in stock. We pride ourselves in constantly measuring product sales averages to keep our stock with the best shelf life and highest availability to avoid order delays. Sometimes we might take a day or two to get additional stock in to fill orders, but if it is going to be longer we will contact you and do our best to work with you on any delays.
Our packing staff go hammer-and-tong packing, literally, thousands of boxes each month. As you might expect, this is not evenly spread out and some some days (Like Mondays) are flat out catching up on Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday's orders. So some days are much busier than others and, we scale the hours and number of packing staff accordingly, largely with great result.
What is the transit time between us and you?
We dispatch from Castle Hill, NSW (track and trace) with major couriers like Hunter Express, Australia Post eParcel and MainFreight.
Where Australia Post Express Post Sevice is used it is normally overnight delivery and we give these orders absolute priority for dispatch. (See Australia Posts site on the Express Network to check estimated transit times to your postcode)
For Flat Rate / Free Shipping you can use the table below as a guide to what the couriers consider the estimated transit times - The accuracy of the transit times are not in our control (as it is Australia Post, Hunter Express and Mainfreight controlling the freight transit) and the times we use are those provided to us by the courier. Factors that affect the couriers like peak seasons, driver stikes and sickness, road closures, natural disasters (flooding etc.) means that no company is able to promise that their transit times are certain and will always be achieved. It is just an unfortunate logistical fact, that isn't always obvious until you consider the challenges of point to point delivery all over Australia.
Where you give us information (like a date of an event that you need your goodies by), we take these event deadlines very seriously and when your order is placed we internally confirm that estimated transit time is sufficient to get your order to you in time for your event. From there, if the courier keeps to their times (which they normally do) then everything will get to you in time. If, however, your consignment is running a bit late in transit, we can also help correspond with the couriers to assist the situation as best we can from afar.
As a guide the transit times are roughly;
Sydney basin / Canberra - 1 or 2 days transit
Melbourne / Brisbane - 1 or 2 days transit
Other major cities - 2 or 3 days transit
Rural - 3+ days transit
Adelaide - 2 or 3 days transit
Darwin - 5+ days transit
Other major cities and Rural SA - 3+ days transit
Rural NT - 5+ days transit
Perth - 4 or 5 days transit
Other major cities - 5+ days transit
Rural WA - 5+ days transit
