Good, if slightly messy
Another good, authentic dutch licorice. If you know what you're in for, you'll love these. If not, be prepared, because like most dutch licorice, the taste is quite a surprise if you're not used to it. Salmiak has an unusual combination of tastes, being both sweet, somewhat salty, and a bit chewy, similar to certain kinds of caramel. It's very difficult to describe to someone who has never tried it though. These are authentic, high quality examples, but be prepared because they are somewhat oily, and prone to leaving brown marks on things, including other sweets if you have them in a jar or bowl or the like. Other than that, these are great, but as with all Dutch Licorice, use caution and be prepared for unexpected tastes if you are unfamiliar with it.
